The Smart EnOcean Gateway has been designed to meet the needs of system integrators. They can commission the gateway into operation in just half a day. That makes a huge time advantage compared to a conventional tunneling gateways which may require integration time of up to two months. The software is based on the EnOcean Link middleware and runs on a compact, robust and energy-efficient hardware, equipped with an EnOcean TCM 310 chipset and TCP/IP connectivity.
Our EnOcean Software Stack provides a suitable framework to integrate data of batteryless radio sensors and actuators into above-standard open platforms. The result is an interoperable network where collected data can be used for intelligent control of various devices – regardless of the technology used, the radio or the manufacturer. With our IP interface (API) the software stack can be used locally as well as directly in the cloud. You can use the provided platforms or start your own development. The commands and the bidirectional interface (API) are simple to understand and can be easily integrated into different control systems. The user has the choice between simple, string – based commands or a full JSON implementation (JavaScript Object Notation).
